Two hundred fifty-six gigabytes of DDR4-2933 ECC registered memory and a PERC H730P controller with two gigabytes of cache support RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60.

This server replaces sprawling JBOD enclosures and older 2U platforms that max out at twelve or sixteen bays. The jump is worth it when a single rack unit must serve both compute and two hundred eight terabytes of raw capacity. Fits dense rack rows

The chassis accepts up to sixteen DDR4 modules and two processors, so memory and CPU headroom remain after the factory configuration.
