Industrial centrifugal fan for inverter cooling
The D4E225-CC01-39 is a new double-inlet centrifugal fan built for industrial cooling duties. It runs on 230 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz and draws 2.4 A at 50 Hz and 2.75 A at 60 Hz. The unit is rated for continuous operation between -25 °C and 30 °C ambient temperature.
Replaces worn inverter cooling fans in heavy
This fan serves as a direct replacement for failed cooling units on ABB drives used in compressors, blowers, cranes, elevators, lifts, winches and cooling towers. The upgrade is worth it when existing fans can no longer maintain the minimum back pressure of 250 Pa at 50 Hz or 300 Pa at 60 Hz, causing drive overheating or tripping.
Limited by fixed-speed AC supply
The motor M4E074-LA operates at a fixed 1210 rpm on 50 Hz and 1300 rpm on 60 Hz with no speed control built in. Power consumption rises from 540 W to 625 W between the two frequencies. A 16 µF, 400 VDB capacitor rated S2 (CE) is required for each frequency and must be matched exactly.
