The GIGABYTE B650 EAGLE AX is an ATX motherboard built around the AMD B650 chipset and AM5 LGA 1718 socket. It supports Ryzen 7000, Ryzen 8000 and Ryzen 9000 Series processors. Four DDR5 DIMM slots accept up to 192 GB of dual-channel memory at 5200 MT/s with AMD EXPO and Intel XMP 3.0 profiles.
A 12+2+2 phase digital VRM delivers stable power to the CPU during extended workloads. Advanced thermal design covers the VRM heatsinks and includes an M.2 Thermal Guard to maintain SSD performance under sustained load. Smart Fan 6 provides configurable cooling curves for system fans.
The primary M.2 slot (M2A_CPU) runs at PCIe 5.0 x4 with Ryzen 7000 Series CPUs and at PCIe 4.0 with Ryzen 8000 Series Phoenix 1 processors. Two additional M.2 slots operate at PCIe 4.0. Rear I/O includes a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port for 20 Gbps transfers. Networking comprises Realtek GbE LAN and AMD Wi-Fi 6E.
