The GIGABYTE MC13-LE2 is a microATX motherboard built around the AMD B650 chipset. It supports a single AMD EPYC 4004, EPYC 4005, Ryzen 7000 or Ryzen 9000 series processor with a TDP up to 170W. The board provides four DDR5 288-pin slots running in dual-channel mode with ECC support for data integrity. Two Intel I210-AT controllers deliver dual 1GbE LAN ports for basic network connectivity.
This board fits builders assembling compact servers, hosted IT services or SMB infrastructure that require enterprise manageability features like GIGABYTE Management Console. It works well for single-socket systems needing ECC memory and dual 1GbE links. Builders who need more than four SATA ports, more than one M.2 slot, or more than two PCIe expansion slots should consider larger form-factor server boards with additional I/O capacity.
The four DDR5 slots operate in dual-channel mode and officially support ECC UDIMMs, which is the key specification for data-integrity workloads. With EPYC 4005 or Ryzen 9000 CPUs the board reaches 5600 MT/s at one DIMM per channel and 3600 MT/s at two DIMMs per channel. With EPYC 4004 or Ryzen 7000 CPUs the limits are 5200 MT/s and 3600 MT/s respectively. If your application requires registered DIMMs or more than four memory slots, this platform will not meet that need.
