Flexible Bay Configuration

The ICY DOCK MB343SP converts a single 5.25 inch half-height bay into space for one 3.5 inch device or two 2.5 inch SATA drives. It accepts 2.5 inch drives between 7.00 and 9.50 millimetres thick. The adapter connects via standard SATA I, II and III interfaces.

Tool-Less Installers and Fixed-Bay Builders

The Smart-Tip locking mechanism secures a 3.5 inch drive without screws, while 2.5 inch SSDs slide in tool-free. A snap-off front dust cover keeps the opening clean when drives are absent. Systems without a 5.25 inch external bay cannot use this adapter.
