The ICY DOCK MB992SKR-B is a ToughArmor mobile rack that fits two 2.5" SATA hard drives or solid-state drives up to 9.5 mm tall into one 3.5" front device bay. A built-in hardware RAID controller offers RAID 0, RAID 1, JBOD and BIG modes selectable on the unit. The enclosure connects through a single SATA 7-pin host interface and a SATA 15-pin power connector. Full metal construction meets flammability requirements for rugged environments.

Builders who want hardware RAID 0 or RAID 1 without using a motherboard controller will find the integrated processor convenient.
