The Phanteks PH-F120MP is a 120 mm PWM case fan built for high static pressure. It suits builders who need focused airflow through dense radiator fins or restrictive case meshes. The single fan operates without an external controller. Buyers who want RGB illumination or a bundled multi-fan kit should look elsewhere.

UFB bearing and rubber dampers

The fan uses an Updraft Floating Balance bearing for reduced friction and a longer service life. Eight enlarged rubber pads come pre-installed on the corners to absorb vibration transferred to the chassis. A standard 4-pin connector plugs directly into a motherboard header for PWM control. The 25 mm thickness fits typical 120 mm mounting points.

500-1800 rpm range and 25 dB noise

Speed adjusts between 500 and 1800 rpm with a ±250 rpm tolerance, delivering up to 53.3 CFM of airflow. At typical operating points the acoustic rating is 25 dB(A). The nine-blade Maelström Vortex Booster II design aims to keep turbulence low while maintaining pressure across radiator fins. Power draw scales with the PWM duty cycle set by the board.
