High-Density 2U Rackmount Chassis

The Rosewill RSV-Z2008 is a 2U rackmount server chassis built to hold eight 3.5-inch hard drives. It targets administrators who need dense local storage for NAS appliances, media libraries or backup targets in a standard rack. The black and silver SGCC steel frame fits 12-inch by 9.6-inch ATX and 11.2-inch by 8.2-inch Mini-ATX boards.

CRPS Power Supply and Front USB-C

Power comes from a dedicated 2U or CRPS supply up to 200 millimetres long, so a redundant or high-efficiency unit can be used without adapter brackets. Two 80-millimetre PWM fans are installed in the middle zone and the mount accepts four fans total for directed airflow. Front I/O provides one USB 3.0 port and one USB 3.2 Type-C port for quick attach storage.

Eight-Bay Upgrade for Growing Arrays

Seven full-height expansion slots and a 245-millimetre GPU clearance allow RAID controllers, HBA cards or a GPU for transcoding. The 75-millimetre CPU cooler limit rules out tall tower coolers, so builders needing larger air coolers should look elsewhere. This chassis replaces smaller 4-bay or 6-bay units when drive count and hot-swap access become the priority.
