Eight DDR4 slots scale to 2 TB

Eight 288-pin slots run DDR4-3200 with ECC, supporting 3DS RDIMM, 3DS LRDIMM and Intel Optane Persistent Memory up to 2 TB total. The board runs out of headroom when workloads demand more than eight DIMM slots or memory speeds beyond the 3200 MT/s ceiling.

Expansion mix covers GPUs, NICs and fast boot

One PCIe 4.0 x16, two PCIe 4.0 x8, one PCIe 4.0 x8 wired in an x16 slot and three PCIe 3.0 x8 slots provide lanes for accelerators and networking cards. Ten SATA 6 Gb/s ports with RAID 0/1/5/10 and a single M.2 M-key slot accepting 2280 or 22110 drives on SATA or PCIe 3.0 x4 handle boot and bulk storage.
