The Synology RS1626xs+ is a 1U rackmount network-attached storage system built around an Intel Xeon D-1726 six-core processor and 16GB DDR4 ECC memory. It ships fully assembled with four 4TB Synology enterprise drives for 16TB raw capacity plus a 1.6TB NVMe cache tier. Under continuous load the Xeon D-1726 maintains consistent compute for multi-user file access and virtual machine storage.
