A 4TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive provides fast project storage. Liquid cooling keeps the CPU stable under sustained multi-core loads.

PCIe 4.0 and 850W Bronze set the upgrade ceiling

The Gigabyte Z890 Eagle motherboard connects the 4TB SSD via a PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slot, limiting sequential reads to 7450 MB/s and writes to 6900 MB/s. Four M.2 connectors and four SATA 6Gb/s ports allow additional drives, but the Thermaltake Smart 850W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply caps total system draw.
