The APC Smart-UPS SMT3000RM2U is a new 2U rackmount uninterruptible power supply delivering 2700 Watts and 2880 VA. It accepts an input range of 82 to 144 volts with an adjustable range of 75 to 154 volts at 50 or 60 Hz. Output is fixed at 120 volts with eight outlets: six NEMA 5-15R and two NEMA 5-20R. A NEMA L5-30P plug provides the input connection.

The 3.4 minute battery runtime at full load covers brief outages and allows ordered shutdown via USB or Smart-Slot management cards. Buyers needing longer autonomy at 2700 Watts should look at extended-battery or higher-capacity UPS models because the internal pack recharges in three hours and cannot be hot-swapped without powering down the load.
