Rackmount on-line UPS for 208V input

The APC Smart-UPS SRT3000RMXLT-5KTF is a 4U rackmount unit that delivers 3000 VA and 2700 W of double-conversion on-line power. It protects servers, network gear, medical equipment and light-industrial loads from distortion, frequency drift and outages. The integrated 208V to 120V step-down transformer supplies both voltages simultaneously from a single 208V source.

Input window and outlet mix define installation

The UPS accepts 160–275 V at 40–70 Hz through a NEMA L6-20P plug, so the site must provide a 208 V, 20 A circuit. Outputs comprise twelve NEMA 5-20R and two NEMA L6-20R receptacles, all on battery backup, giving 120 V and 208 V sockets in one chassis. No 120 V-only input option exists on this model.

Runtime at load determines whether the unit fits

At half load the battery provides 11.4 minutes; at full load it provides 3.8 minutes. Recharge takes three hours and the replaceable cartridge is APCRBC152. If the protected equipment requires more than a few minutes of autonomy, external battery packs must be added.
