This ASUS TUF GAMING B550M-E WIFI motherboard fits the Micro ATX form factor and uses the AMD B550 chipset with Socket AM4. It targets builders who want a compact foundation for AMD Ryzen 3, 5 or 7 processors. Four DDR4 slots support up to 128 GB of memory in dual-channel mode.
PCIe 4.0 x16 slot with Ryzen 5000 and 3000 CPUs
The top expansion slot runs at PCIe 4.0 x16 when a Ryzen 5000 Series or Ryzen 3000 Series desktop processor is installed. With Ryzen 5000 G-Series or 4000 G-Series chips the same slot operates at PCIe 3.0 x16. Two additional PCIe 3.0 x1 slots come from the chipset.
Two M.2 slots plus four SATA ports and onboard Wi-Fi
Internal I/O includes two M.2 slots for PCIe 3.0 or SATA drives and four SATA 6Gb/s ports for 2.5-inch SSDs or HDDs. Rear I/O provides HDMI 2.1, USB 3.2 Gen 1 and USB 2.0 connections, while a TPM header and RGB LED header are available for platform security and lighting control.
