The ASUS TUF GAMING B550M-PLUS is a Micro ATX motherboard built around the AMD B550 chipset and AM4 socket. It targets builders who want PCIe 4.0 support for 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen CPUs. Fanless VRM heatsink with hybrid fan control

The power delivery uses 8+2 DrMOS stages, alloy chokes and durable capacitors to feed high-count-core CPUs. A fanless VRM and chipset heatsink handles normal loads silently. Multiple hybrid fan headers are managed through Fan Xpert 4 or UEFI Q-Fan Control for automatic speed curves. The 2.5Gb LAN with LANGuard adds wired throughput without extra power draw.

Dual M.2 slots and front-panel USB 3.2 Gen 2

One M.2 slot runs at PCIe 4.0 x4 and the second at PCIe 3.0 x4, both supporting 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110 lengths in NVMe or SATA modes. Four SATA 6Gb/s ports provide additional storage. Rear I/O includes HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.2, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C and Type-A. SupremeFX S1220A audio with DTS Sound Unbound and Sonic Studio III drives 7.1 channels. An addressable Gen 2 RGB header supports AURA Sync lighting.
