PCIe 4.0 x16 expansion card

This add-on card converts a single PCIe 4.0 x16 slot into four M.2 2280 NVMe drive positions. It is built for workstations and servers that need dense local storage on a single expansion slot. The board requires a motherboard with PCIe bifurcation support to operate correctly.

Four drives with 256 Gbps total bandwidth

Each slot runs at PCIe 4.0 x4, giving a combined interface ceiling of 256 Gbps. RAID 0 can aggregate throughput up to 14000 MB/s read, but only if the platform splits the lane into x4 x4 x4 x4 or x8 x4 x4 configurations. Without bifurcation the card will not detect all drives.

Bifurcation is the hard requirement

The motherboard must expose a BIOS option to split the x16 link into four x4 links and support PCIe RAID across those links. If the firmware cannot set x4 x4 x4 x4 or an equivalent mode, the adapter will not function as intended. No driver installation is needed once the hardware requirement is met.
