This 2.5 inch internal hard drive delivers 1000 GB of storage and spins at 7200 RPM. It carries the Dell part number 9RZ168-636 and the manufacturer model ST91000640NS. The drive is new and ships with an R Series caddy for direct installation.
SATA 6 Gb/s interface limits
The drive connects through a standard SATA 6 Gb/s link, so maximum throughput is bounded by that interface rather than by the drive itself. Mechanical latency and sustained transfer rates remain those of a 7200 RPM platter. Systems without a 6 Gb/s SATA port will operate at the lower speed of the host controller.
64 MB cache and tray mounting
