Dell EDGE-620 SD-WAN appliance

The Dell EDGE-620 is a compact rack-mount appliance built for branch-office SD-WAN deployments. It runs on an Intel Denverton four-core processor with QuickAssist Technology and 8 GB of memory. A 120 GB SSD provides local storage for the VMware SD-WAN operating system. The unit ships new and ready for configuration.

Six copper and two fibre uplinks

Six 10/100/1000 BASE-T ports handle LAN and WAN traffic over copper cabling. Two 1 GbE SFP ports add fibre connectivity for longer runs or ISP hand-offs. Two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a SIM slot and a mini-USB 2.0 console port support out-of-band management and cellular failover. No rack-mount brackets are included in the package.

External power and rack flexibility

An external power adapter is required but not supplied, letting you choose a compatible unit for your site. The chassis is designed for standard rack installation once suitable rails or shelves are sourced. Its small footprint suits space-constrained network cabinets or wall-mounted brackets. Buyers who need integrated power or pre-fitted rails should look elsewhere.
