The Dell PowerEdge R650xs is a 1U rack server equipped with two Intel Xeon Silver 4314 processors running at 2.4 GHz with a 3.4 GHz turbo frequency. Each CPU provides 16 cores for a total of 32 threads. It is built for virtualization, cloud infrastructure and dense data analytics in space-constrained data centres.

128 GB DDR4 and 18 TB SAS Storage

The system ships with 128 GB of DDR4 2666 MHz registered ECC memory across eight DIMM slots, expandable to 1 TB. Ten 1.8 TB 10K SAS drives deliver 18 TB of raw capacity managed by a PERC H745 controller with 4 GB NV cache supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. The 2.5-inch bays also accept SATA and NVMe devices for mixed workloads.

Redundant Power and Remote Management
