Fan speed is managed by iDRAC8 with Lifecycle Controller, adjusting airflow to match thermal load from the CPUs and drive array.

24 DIMM slots and seven PCIe 3.0 slots

The chassis offers 24 DDR4 slots, 12 per processor, enabling memory expansion up to the platform maximum. Seven PCIe 3.0 expansion slots plus a dedicated PERC slot accommodate additional network cards, GPU accelerators or storage controllers.
