This 2U rack server ships with two Intel Xeon E5-2660 v4 processors, each running at 2.0 GHz with 14 cores and a 3.2 GHz turbo frequency. It includes 256 GB of DDR4-2400 registered ECC memory across eight 32 GB modules. The Dell PERC H730 controller with 1 GB cache supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Eight 2.5-inch SAS/SATA drive trays are fitted, and a quad-port X520/I350 network daughter card provides two 1 GbE and two 10 Gb SFP+ connections. Dual 750 W platinum power supplies, iDRAC8 Enterprise, rails and a front bezel complete the package.
