The Dell PowerEdge T430 is a 5U rack server equipped with two Intel Xeon E5-2695 v4 processors, each running at 2.1 GHz with a 3.3 GHz turbo frequency and 18 cores. It ships with 128 GB of DDR4-2400 ECC registered memory across 12 slots, expandable to 384 GB. The PERC H730P controller with 2 GB cache manages storage across 16 hot-swap 2.5-inch bays, and four 960 GB SATA SSDs are installed.

Dual 750 W platinum power supplies and hot-swap drive bays keep the platform running during drive or power-module replacement. The H730P controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60, maintaining consistent I/O under heavy database or virtualization workloads. iDRAC 8 Express provides remote monitoring and firmware updates without host OS dependence, and dual 1 GbE ports handle management and production traffic simultaneously.

16-bay 2.5-inch chassis limits large-capacity

The 16-bay 2.5-inch front panel accepts SAS and SATA SSDs or HDDs but cannot accommodate 3.5-inch drives, so buyers needing high-capacity spinning disks per bay must choose a different chassis. Maximum memory reaches 384 GB across 12 DIMM slots, and the LGA 2011 socket caps CPU upgrades at the E5-2600 v4 generation. Front bezel and rack rails are not included.
