The Dell PowerEdge T440 is a 5U tower server fitted with two Intel Xeon Silver 4210 10-core processors running at 2.2 GHz with a 3.2 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4-2400 ECC registered memory across two modules and a Dell PERC H730P 2 GB 12 Gb/s SAS/SATA RAID controller. Sixteen 2.5-inch hot-swap drive trays provide dense internal storage capacity. Integrated dual-port Gigabit Ethernet and iDRAC 9 Express remote management complete the base configuration.

Redundant hot-plug 750 W platinum power supplies maintain continuous uptime during extended compute or storage workloads. The H730P controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 modes with battery-backed cache to protect data integrity during prolonged write activity. DDR4 ECC memory corrects single-bit errors in real time, reducing the risk of silent data corruption during long-running database or virtualization tasks. The tower chassis allows front-access drive replacement without service interruption.

Verify that your environment can accommodate a 5U tower form factor and that rack mounting is not required unless the optional conversion kit is sourced separately.
