Dual Xeon Gold 5120 Server

The Dell PowerEdge T440 is a 5U tower server equipped with two Intel Xeon Gold 5120 processors, each running at 2.2GHz with 14 cores and a 3.2GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 16GB of DDR4-2400 ECC registered memory across 16 available slots. The system targets virtualization, database hosting, and software-defined storage workloads. An optional rack conversion kit allows deployment in standard server racks.

16-Bay 2.5-Inch SATA/SAS Storage

Sixteen hot-swap drive bays accept 2.5-inch SATA and SAS solid-state or hard drives for flexible capacity planning. The integrated Dell PERC H730P controller provides 2GB cache and supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60 modes plus pass-through. Four 960GB SATA SSDs are installed, leaving twelve bays open for expansion. Dual onboard 1GbE ports handle basic network connectivity.

Redundant Platinum Power Supplies

Two hot-plug 750W platinum-efficiency power supplies deliver redundant power for continuous operation. The iDRAC 9 Express module enables remote management and lifecycle automation without requiring physical access. Front bezel and ready rails are not included, so plan for separate mounting hardware if rack installation is intended. PCI Express slots remain available for additional RAID, networking, or GPU cards.
