The Emulex LPe12002 Lightpulse is a dual-channel PCIe host bus adapter that delivers two independent 8 Gb Fibre Channel ports on a standard bracket. It is built for servers that need redundant or aggregated connections to a storage-area network without occupying multiple slots.
Upgrades single-port 4 Gb or 8 Gb HBAs
Replacing a single-port adapter with this card doubles the available fabric paths and removes a common bottleneck in clustered or virtualised environments.
