The HP EliteDesk 800 G4 Mini is a new micro-form-factor desktop built around an Intel Core i7-8700T processor with 12 MB cache, 2.40 GHz base and 4.00 GHz turbo frequencies. It ships with 16 GB DDR4 memory, a 256 GB NVMe drive and Windows 11 Pro 64-bit installed. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 drives up to two external displays. The 90 W power adapter keeps the unit running in offices, classrooms or home workspaces where desk space is limited.

Bundled accessories and adapters

A DP to HDMI adapter is included so one of the two DisplayPort outputs can connect to an HDMI monitor without an extra purchase. A wireless keyboard and mouse connect via a single USB receiver, reducing cable clutter. A Wi-Fi and Bluetooth adapter adds wireless networking and peripheral support out of the box. Windows 11 Pro is preloaded, so the system is ready for domain join, BitLocker and remote management immediately after first boot.

Build and daily connectivity

The chassis uses air cooling and carries a Grade A cosmetic rating, indicating excellent external condition. Front and rear USB ports accept the supplied keyboard and mouse receivers as well as other peripherals. Dual DisplayPort outputs support a two-monitor productivity setup directly from the integrated graphics. The 90 W external power adapter means no internal power-supply fan noise and simple replacement if required. Buyers who need internal expansion slots, a dedicated graphics card or a larger storage bay should consider a larger form factor.
