The Intel NUC14RVHi3 is a barebone mini PC built around the Core 3 100U processor with six cores and eight threads. It ships without memory, storage or an operating system, so integrators choose their own DDR5 SO-DIMMs and NVMe drives. The tall black chassis measures 117 by 112 by 54 millimetres and includes VESA mounting hardware for behind-screen installation.
Straightforward assembly with two catch points
Memory and storage slots are accessible after removing the bottom cover, and the 90 W 19 V power adapter uses a standard DC barrel jack that also accepts 12 V to 20 V input. Installers must populate both SO-DIMM slots to enable dual-channel operation, and the shorter M.2 2242 slot sits beside the full-length 2280 slot, so cable routing needs care. No RAM or SSD is included, so the build cannot boot until those parts are added.
DDR5 5600 ceiling and four-display output limit
The memory controller supports DDR5 5600 up to 96 GB total across two slots, and faster modules will downclock to this speed. Integrated graphics drive up to four displays through two HDMI 2.1 TMDS ports and two Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports, but 8K output is capped at 60 Hz. The 2.5 Gbps Ethernet and Wi-Fi 6E AX211 provide wired and wireless connectivity, while Bluetooth 5.3 support depends on the operating system installed.
