LORDWORLD 4-ch Current/Voltage/Power Monitor HAT for Raspberry Pi

SKU CH-H0QY-Q47EW

Four-channel HAT monitors current, voltage and power on a Raspberry Pi via I2C, measuring bi-directional current up to 3.2A and voltage to 26V with a 12-bit ADC

  • Monitor four channels simultaneously via I2C/SMBus interface
  • Measure bi-directional current up to 3.2A with onboard .1 ohm sampling resistor
  • Read voltage across 0 to 26V range using embedded 12-bit ADC
  • Obtain power values directly through dedicated multiply register
  • Connect easily with standard 40-pin GPIO header for Raspberry Pi series boards

Four-Channel Power HAT for Raspberry Pi

This LORDWORLD HAT adds four independent current, voltage and power measurement channels to any Raspberry Pi board with a 40-pin GPIO header. It connects through the I2C/SMBus interface and also exposes I2C control pins for linking additional host boards. Makers and engineers can monitor each channel separately without designing custom analogue front-ends.

Practical limits of the I2C/SMBus interface

The onboard 0.1 Ω sampling resistor supports bi-directional current measurement up to 3.2 A per channel, while the embedded 12-bit ADC covers a 0–26 V range with successive conversion capability. Power values are calculated directly in an additional multiply register, so the host only reads the final result. The bus bandwidth and address space set the maximum number of stacked boards.

Replaces discrete shunt and ADC circuits

Builders who previously wired individual sense resistors, amplifiers and ADCs can now use a single HAT that fits the standard 40-pin header. The jump is worth it when a project needs four simultaneous, calibrated channels with minimal wiring and software overhead. It does not suit applications requiring higher current ranges or voltage spans beyond the stated limits.

この商品に関する質問

How many channels does this HAT monitor and what interface does it use?

The board provides four independent channels and communicates over an I2C/SMBus interface, leaving the standard 40PIN GPIO header free for other add-ons.

What current and voltage ranges can the 0.1 Ω shunt and 12-bit ADC actually measure?

The 0.1 Ω sampling resistor supports bi-directional current up to 3.2 A per channel, while the embedded 12-bit ADC measures voltages from 0 to 26 V with successive conversion.

Does the HAT calculate power internally or must the Pi do the maths?

An on-board multiply register directly computes and outputs the power value for each channel, so the host only reads the finished result over I2C.
