Four-port USB 2.0 expansion HAT

The LORDWORLD USB HUB HAT (B) adds four USB 2.0/1.1 ports to a Raspberry Pi. It targets makers and developers who need extra connections for peripherals such as keyboards, sensors or storage on a single-board computer.

Ideal for Pi Zero direct mounting.

The pogo-pin layout lets a Pi Zero, Zero W or Zero WH sit directly on the board for a compact stack. Builders using a Pi 4B, 3B+, 3A+ or 2B must connect through the USB HUB connector with a separate cable, so projects that demand a completely cable-free header on those larger boards should look elsewhere.

Single USB 2.0 upstream link sets the bandwidth

All four downstream ports share one USB 2.0 connection to the host, so total throughput cannot exceed the USB 2.0 specification. If your application needs higher aggregate bandwidth or USB 3.x speeds, this HAT will not meet that requirement.

この商品に関する質問

How does the pogo pin header align with a Raspberry Pi Zero?

The pogo pins press directly onto the Zero's GPIO pads so the HAT sits flush without a separate connector.

Which cable links the hub to a Raspberry Pi 4B?

A standard USB cable plugs into the hub's USB HUB connector and the Pi's USB port.

Will the four downstream ports need a firmware update later?

No firmware is involved; the hub is a passive USB 2.0/1.1 device that requires no software maintenance.
