Sustained Transfer Behaviour
The adapter supports USB 3.0 speeds of 5 Gbps and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 at 480 Mbps and USB 1.1. When the host system supports UASP, read performance can be up to 70 percent faster and write performance up to 40 percent faster than conventional USB 3.0, allowing a SATA III drive to maintain higher throughput during extended copy or imaging jobs.
