Capacity and Configuration
This kit provides 256GB of DDR5 memory arranged as sixteen 16GB modules. It is built for administrators upgrading a SuperMicro SYS-221HE series server to its maximum supported density.
Registered ECC requirement
The modules are registered ECC RDIMMs, so they only work in platforms that accept buffered DDR5 with error correction. Desktop boards, consumer workstations or any system needing unbuffered non-ECC memory cannot use this kit.
Speed and latency
Rated at 4800 MT/s with CL40 timing at 1.1V, the kit matches the SYS-221HE memory controller specification. Installing slower or faster DDR5 will force the platform to downclock or prevent boot.
