SuperMicro X13SEI memory kit
This 256GB kit uses two 128GB DDR5 registered DIMMs built for SuperMicro X13SEI-F and X13SEI-TF motherboards. Each module runs at 4800 MT/s with CL40 latency and 1.1V operation. The ECC registered design targets servers and workstations that require error correction and signal buffering. Buyers needing consumer UDIMM modules or non-ECC memory cannot use this kit.
2x128GB registered DIMM package
The box contains two 288-pin RDIMMs pre-tested as a matched pair for dual-channel population. No heat spreaders are fitted, so airflow in the chassis must handle thermal management. The modules use major OEM chips from Samsung, Micron or Hynix selected for server-grade validation. Systems that require registered DIMMs with a different rank structure or voltage will not accept these modules.
DDR5 4800 RDIMM constraints
The DDR5 4800 standard sets the electrical and timing baseline at PC5-38400 with 1.10V nominal voltage. Registered buffering adds one cycle of command delay versus unbuffered DIMMs, which the memory controller must support. The 4Rx4 organisation increases density but limits maximum rank-per-channel counts on some platforms. Boards that only accept UDIMMs or operate at lower DDR5 speeds will not post with this memory.
