32 GB DDR4-3200 ECC RDIMM kit
This 32 GB kit contains four 8 GB DDR4-3200 ECC registered DIMMs built for ThinkMate HDX servers and workstations. Each module runs at 1.2 V with CL22 latency and a 1Rx8 organisation. The registered buffer and error-correcting code suit mission-critical workloads that demand data integrity.
Replaces slower or non-ECC DDR4 memory
Upgrading from lower-speed DDR4 or unbuffered modules adds bandwidth and single-bit error correction for databases, virtualization and file-server duties. The jump is worth it when the platform requires registered DIMMs and the workload cannot tolerate silent data corruption.
DDR4 RDIMM platform constraints
The 288-pin DDR4 RDIMM form factor only fits motherboards wired for registered ECC memory and will not work in consumer boards that expect unbuffered DIMMs. Mixed-rank populations or exceeding the board’s qualified vendor list can prevent the system from posting at the rated 3200 MT/s speed.
