The 110 mm height is 15 mm lower than earlier 4U-compliant 9 cm DX coolers, allowing installation in 3U rack cases without sacrificing dual-tower surface area. Sustained load runs at reduced fan speed
Under continuous thermal load the NF-A9 PWM fan operates between 400 and 2000 RPM, delivering 46.44 CFM at the standard 22.8 dBA level. With the supplied Low-Noise Adaptor the speed drops to 1550 RPM for 36.84 CFM at 16.3 dBA, keeping acoustic output low during extended render or compute sessions.
