Classic 120mm slim tower for broad compatibility

The NH-U12S is a single-tower CPU air cooler built around a 120mm Focused Flow fan. Its 45mm slim profile ensures 100 percent RAM clearance and avoids PCIe slot overhang on most current motherboards. The SecuFirm2 mounting system supports Intel LGA1851, LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA115x and AMD AM5 plus AM4 sockets. It targets builders who want reliable cooling without clearance headaches.

Sustained load behaviour

Under continuous load the NF-F12 fan runs at up to 1500 RPM, delivering 54.97 CFM of focused airflow through the copper-base, nickel-plated aluminium fin stack. PWM support allows the motherboard to adjust speed automatically as temperatures rise. For quieter operation the supplied Low-Noise Adaptor reduces the maximum to 1200 RPM and 43.73 CFM, trading peak capacity for lower acoustic output during long sessions.

Thermals, noise and power draw in normal use

At the standard 1500 RPM setting the fan produces 22.4 dB(A), dropping to 18.6 dB(A) with the Low-Noise Adaptor fitted. Minimum PWM speed reaches 300 RPM for near-silent idle conditions. The heatsink weighs 755g and stands 158mm tall, fitting most mid-tower cases. Anti-vibration pads and fan clips minimise mechanical noise transmitted to the chassis.
