Server memory kit

This OWC kit provides 64GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory in two 32GB modules. It is built for Cisco UCS B200 M5, B480 M5, C220 M5, C240 M5 and C480 M5 servers that require registered DIMMs. The modules will not work in standard desktop computers or in systems that only accept unbuffered or load-reduced memory.

Registered DDR4 limits

The modules run at DDR4 2933 (PC4-23400) with CL21 latency at 1.2V. They are backward compatible with 2133, 2400 and 2666MHz bus speeds. Registered DIMMs cannot be mixed with unbuffered or load-reduced modules in the same system.

Pre-installation check

Verify that your Cisco UCS model is listed above and that the server currently uses registered ECC memory. Confirm the available 288-pin DIMM slots and the maximum supported capacity per slot. Ensure the platform does not require load-reduced or unbuffered memory types.
