The Rosewill RSV-Z2700U is a 2U rackmount chassis built for Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX motherboards. It suits home labs, small business servers, or edge deployments that need dense storage in a standard rack footprint. The SGCC steel construction provides a sturdy enclosure for continuous operation. It is not for builders needing ATX or E-ATX board support or more than four low-profile expansion slots.

Four 3.5-Inch Bays and One 5.25-Inch Bay

Four internal 3.5-inch drive bays accept 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives, giving ample room for a storage array or mixed SSD and HDD sets. A single external 5.25-inch bay remains for optical media or a front-access accessory. The 150 mm maximum power supply length limits choices to compact PS2 units, and the 70 mm CPU cooler ceiling rules out most tower coolers.

Low-Profile Expansion With Front USB 3.0

Four PCI expansion slots accommodate low-profile cards up to 150 mm long, fitting RAID controllers, NICs, or GPU compute cards. Two pre-installed 80 mm PWM fans at the front push air through the drive cage and over the motherboard. Front-panel USB 3.0 ports provide quick peripheral access without reaching the rear. Builders needing full-height cards, long GPUs, or liquid cooling must choose a larger chassis.
