SEHMUA S40 4G LTE solar camera

The SEHMUA S40 is a 4G LTE cellular security camera built for outdoor sites that have no Wi-Fi or mains power. It suits barns, farms, construction plots, vacation homes and RVs where a mobile signal is available. The camera ships with a built-in EIOTCLUB SIM card that works on AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon networks in the United States. A 7-day unlimited data trial and a 30-day cloud storage trial are included before a paid subscription begins.

Installation: solar mount and SIM activation

Mount the camera, connect the 6 W solar panel and fully charge the internal battery with the supplied power cable before first use. After that initial charge the solar panel maintains power as long as sunlight reaches it. The only common issue is placing the unit where 4G coverage is weak; the camera will not fall back to Wi-Fi because it has no Wi-Fi radio. Ensure the site has a usable cellular signal before finalising the mount.

2K resolution with 360° view and color night vision

The 2K sensor records at 265 coding to save roughly 40 percent of storage space and data traffic. Digital zoom reaches 4× while the lens pans and tilts for a 360° field of view. Full-color night vision stays active in darkness and PIR motion detection triggers real-time alerts. Footage can be stored on a memory card or in encrypted cloud storage, and two-way audio lets you speak through the camera from anywhere. The IP65 rating means it handles rain and dust without trouble.
