5U Rackmount Chassis for Server

The SilverStone RM52 is a 5U rackmount server chassis finished in black steel. It accepts Micro ATX, ATX, Mini ITX, EATX, SSI EEB and SSI CEB motherboards, making it suitable for industrial rack deployments or high-end home systems that can be oriented vertically or horizontally. Eight expansion slots provide room for multiple add-in cards.

Dual 360 mm Radiator Support and Included Fans

Cooling capacity includes front mounts for four 120 mm fans or two 360 mm radiators, a rear 120 mm or 140 mm position with one 140 mm fan supplied, and a rear fan cage holding two 80 mm fans that are also included. CPU cooler clearance reaches 181 mm with the expansion card retainer fitted and 192 mm without it, while graphics card length ranges from 160 mm to 190 mm depending on drive cage configuration.

Flexible Drive Layout and Redundant Power Options

Internal storage comprises two 3.5 inch bays that each accept three 2.5 inch drives, two further 3.5 inch bays that can instead house an SFX secondary PSU, plus four dedicated 2.5 inch bays. The primary PSU slot takes a standard PS2 ATX unit or a mini redundant supply. Front I/O provides two USB 3.0 ports and one USB Type-C connector, while LED indicators show power, drive and dual LAN activity. Sliding rail mounting holes are pre-drilled for rack installation.
