The SPARTAN Media Mirror Plus M1001-SSP is a standalone duplicator that copies flash memory cards and USB drives directly to CD or DVD without a computer. It targets photographers, videographers and anyone who needs write-once optical backups of critical data from portable media.

Thermal noise and power in normal use

The unit operates as a standalone tray-load device with an Athena controller and 128 MB buffer memory. No thermal, noise or power-draw figures are supplied for normal use.

Build integration needs and freedoms

A single combo drive handles CD-R at 52X, DVD±R at 24X, DVD±RW at 12X and DVD±R DL at 12X. Integrated SD, CF, MS and MMC slots plus a USB port accept one memory source at a time. Disc spanning splits large cards across multiple discs while multi-session writing merges several cards onto one disc. It cannot duplicate disc-to-disc beyond 1-to-1 and does not support simultaneous multi-card reading.
