Compact server board
The Supermicro MBD-X12STL-IF-O is a Mini ITX motherboard for single-socket LGA 1200 processors. It supports 10th Generation Intel Pentium and Intel Xeon E-2300 CPUs with a thermal design power up to 95W. The Intel C252 chipset provides the platform foundation for small-form-factor server or workstation builds.
Build integration
Two 288-pin DDR4 slots accept unbuffered ECC UDIMMs at 3200MHz for up to 64GB total capacity. A single PCIe 4.0 x16 slot handles a graphics or accelerator card while an M.2 2280 M-key slot connects a PCIe 3.0 x4 storage device. Six SATA 6.0Gb/s ports with RAID 0/1/5/10 support handle additional drives. Dual Intel I210 Gigabit Ethernet ports and the ASPEED AST2600 BMC with VGA output enable remote management without a discrete GPU.
Bundled interfaces
Rear I/O includes two RJ45 LAN ports, two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, one VGA connector and one COM port. Internal headers supply two more USB 2.0 and two more USB 3.2 Gen1 connections. The onboard BMC chipset provides dedicated out-of-band management through the network interfaces, reducing the need for a separate KVM or IPMI card.
