The U6-LR is a WiFi 6 access point built for enterprise environments that need extended wireless reach. It uses a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor to deliver 1 Gbps full-duplex TCP/IP throughput. High-efficiency four-stream technology serves dense client populations across large indoor or semi-outdoor areas. The IP54-rated housing allows mounting where standard indoor units cannot go.

Upgrade From Basic Access Points

This model replaces single-radio or lower-stream units that cannot sustain high aggregate throughput across both bands. The jump is worthwhile when client density exceeds the capacity of 2x2 MIMO hardware or when coverage gaps appear at the edge of existing deployments. Four-stream MU-MIMO and OFDMA on the 5 GHz band reduce contention in busy offices or venues. Semi-outdoor mounting capability removes the need for separate ruggedised hardware.

Aggregate 3.0 Gbps Radio Capacity

The 5 GHz radio provides 4 Gbps using 4x4 MU-MIMO and OFDMA while the 2.4 GHz radio adds 600 Mbps with 4x4 MIMO. Together they deliver an aggregate radio rate of 3.0 Gbps for mixed client loads. The single 1 Gbps Ethernet port and 512 MB memory set the wired backhaul ceiling. Environments needing multi-gigabit uplink or more than one wired link will require a different platform.
