Connectivity adapter

The Vszerda adapter connects an NGFF M-Key NVMe drive to a motherboard through an SFF-8654 Slimline SAS interface and a U.2 SFF-8639 cable. The package includes one card and one 50cm cable. It is built for server or workstation builders who need to add high-speed NVMe storage without a native M.2 slot. It does not support SAS or SATA disks.

Sustained throughput

The card supports PCIe 3.0 and PCIe 4.0 at four lanes, so sustained transfer rates follow the drive and host controller limits rather than the adapter itself. Under continuous workloads the passive design relies on system airflow to keep the drive within its thermal envelope. Windows 10 or later is required for driver support.

Upgrade path

This adapter replaces a direct M.2 installation when the board lacks an M-Key slot or when the drive must sit in a U.2 bay.
