It connects to a host via USB 3.0 Type-B and includes a 12V 2A power adapter. A 40mm temperature-controlled fan provides active cooling while the alloy body aids passive heat dissipation.
Suits High-Capacity Archives
This enclosure fits users who need to access two large SATA drives simultaneously without a hardware RAID controller. It works well for video editors, archivists or small offices building direct-attached storage pools up to 32 TB. Builders who require hardware RAID 0, 1 or JBOD modes managed by the enclosure itself should consider a different model. Systems limited to USB 2.0 ports will not reach the 6 Gbps SATA III link speed.
