The Acer Aspire Go 15 is a 15.6-inch laptop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U processor with 8 cores and 16 threads. It ships with 16GB of DDR4 memory and a 4TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed. The integrated AMD Radeon graphics drive a 1920 x 1080 60Hz non-touch display. Connectivity includes WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and a wired RJ-45 port. A Dockztorm wireless mouse is included in the box.

Sustained load on integrated graphics

The 7730U can reach 4.5 GHz turbo frequency with 16MB L3 cache, but the cooling solution is a 65W power adapter and a 3-cell 51 WHr battery. Under continuous multi-threaded work the processor will throttle to stay within thermal limits. Integrated Radeon graphics share system memory, so heavy GPU tasks reduce bandwidth available to the CPU. The 60Hz panel caps visible frame rates, making this machine suited to productivity rather than extended gaming or rendering sessions.

Straightforward setup with sealed memory

The laptop arrives with the upgraded configuration already installed, so no user assembly is required. The 16GB DDR4 SO-DIMM is not user-replaceable, preventing future memory expansion. The single 4TB NVMe drive occupies the only M.2 slot, so adding storage later means replacing the drive. Ports include HDMI, USB 3.2 Type-C and a headphone/microphone combo jack. The 3.8lb chassis measures 9.6 x 14.4 x 1 inches.
