Custom liquid-cooled gaming desktop

This desktop ships with a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor, 64GB of DDR5 memory and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics card. It targets enthusiasts who want a ready-to-run tower for high-refresh gaming and content creation without assembling parts themselves. The system includes a 1TB NVMe boot drive and a 10TB hard drive for bulk storage. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and activated.

Z890 platform limits and connectivity

The motherboard uses the LGA 1851 socket and supports up to 192GB of DDR5 across four slots, so the fitted 64GB kit leaves room for expansion. Rear I/O provides one Thunderbolt 4 Type-C port, one USB 20Gbps Type-C port, three USB 10Gbps ports and three USB 5Gbps ports, plus 2.5Gb Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Four M.2 connectors and four SATA 6Gb/s ports set the ceiling for additional drives. The 850W 80 Plus Bronze power supply defines the total power budget for future upgrades.

Tower build, cooling and daily use

A 360mm liquid cooler handles the CPU while the Ceres 300 mid-tower case moves air through two front 140mm fans and one rear 140mm fan, all rated at 1500rpm and 30dBA.
