The ADATA Premier ONE 256GB SDXC UHS-II V90 card is built for professional DSLR cameras, Full HD, UHD 4K and 8K camcorders, plus 3D and 360-degree video rigs. It delivers sustained write performance of up to 155MB/s and read speeds up to 275MB/s. The V90 rating guarantees the minimum throughput needed for uninterrupted 8K capture and high-speed burst photography. Rugged construction adds waterproof, shockproof, anti-static, X-ray proof and wide temperature tolerance from -25°C to 85°C.

Upgrading from slower cards

This card replaces UHS-I or lower-rated media that cannot sustain 8K, 4K, 3D, VR or 360-degree recording without dropped frames. The jump is worth it when your camera requires V90 class performance or when burst-mode shooting exceeds the write ceiling of Class 10 UHS-I cards. It also supersedes smaller 64GB or 128GB capacities when longer continuous recording time is needed. Write-in protection and Error Correcting Code further reduce the risk of data loss during intensive shoots.

UHS-II interface limits

The UHS-II interface on this 256GB model tops out at 275MB/s read and 155MB/s write, below the 290/260MB/s seen on the 64GB and 128GB variants. Devices limited to UHS-I will fall back to lower speeds and cannot exploit the V90 guarantee. The SDXC form factor fits full-size SD slots only; microSD adapters are not included. Buyers needing more capacity than 256GB or a different form factor must look elsewhere.
