Tower UPS with 1440 VA Capacity

The APC SMT1500C is a line-interactive tower UPS delivering 1440 VA and 1000 W of pure sine wave output. It provides battery backup and Automatic Voltage Regulation to stabilise utility fluctuations for connected equipment. The unit includes eight NEMA 5-15R outlets and a NEMA 5-15P input connection. A 16 GB USB 3.0 drive is bundled with the package.

Suited for Network Gear and Desktop Protection

This UPS fits servers, storage arrays, network closets, VoIP systems, desktop computers and retail point-of-sale terminals needing pure sine wave power and remote monitoring via SmartConnect. It is not intended for buyers requiring higher output wattage, extended runtime for large loads, or rackmount form factors. Environments lacking a NEMA 5-15 mains supply cannot use the supplied input plug.

1000 W Continuous Load Headroom

The 1000 W rating comfortably handles typical business workstations, networking switches and NAS units with margin for peripheral draws. Runtime decreases as the connected load approaches the 1000 W limit, and the internal battery capacity is sized for graceful shutdown rather than prolonged operation. The SmartSlot accepts an optional management card for extended network control.
