120 mm PWM A-RGB case fan

The ARCTIC COOLING P12 is a single 120 mm case fan built for static-pressure tasks such as radiators and dense heatsinks. Its fluid-dynamic bearing and 0-2000 rpm PWM range allow the speed to drop to a standstill at idle. Twelve addressable RGB LEDs sit on the hub and transparent rotor for even illumination. Integrated Y-splitters on both the 4-pin power and 3-pin 5 V ARGB cables simplify adding more fans.

Sustained-load behaviour

At full speed the fan delivers 48.8 CFM (82.91 m³/h) of airflow with 1.85 mmH₂O static pressure while registering only 0.3 sone. The semi-passive 0 rpm floor means the rotor stops completely when the PWM signal calls for it, eliminating noise during low-load periods. Under continuous high-load operation the fluid-dynamic bearing maintains consistent speed and pressure without the rattling that can develop in sleeve-bearing designs over time.

Compatibility checklist

Verify your motherboard or controller has a 4-pin PWM header for speed control and a 5 V 3-pin ARGB header for lighting synchronisation. The fan frame is 25 mm thick, so confirm clearance against neighbouring components or side panels. Each unit includes a Y-splitter on both cables; plan header count if you intend to daisy-chain multiple fans from a single connection.
