Deep mini-ITX server board
The ASRock Rack B550D4ID-2L2T is a deep mini-ITX motherboard built for AMD Socket AM4 processors. It accepts Ryzen 5000, 4000 and 3000 series desktop CPUs, including G-Series and PRO variants. Four 288-pin DDR4 slots run at 3200 and support ECC memory. The layout fits compact server chassis while keeping full expansion options.
Dual 10GbE and 1GbE networking
Two Intel X710-AT2 ports deliver 10GbE throughput and two Intel I210 ports provide 1GbE links, plus a dedicated IPMI LAN port for out-of-band management. This suits storage servers, virtualisation hosts and edge appliances that need high-speed wired connectivity. Builds relying on wireless networking or single-gigabit uplinks will not use the board's primary strength.
PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and dual M.2
A full-length PCIe 4.0 x16 slot driven by the CPU handles GPUs, compute cards or additional storage controllers. Two M-key M.2 sockets are available: one wired for PCIe 4.0 x4 or SATA, the other for PCIe 3.0 x2 or SATA, both supporting 2280 modules. Systems that require multiple x16 slots or more than two M.2 devices should consider a larger form factor.
